Visit the  water lilies at Como Park, tour behind the scenes at the Conservatory, and learn more about its history.

The Great River Chapter of the American Society of Botanical Artists has arranged for a tour of the Como Park Conservatory and viewing of the water lilies on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 4:30-7:00 PM at the Como Park Conservatory.  We will meet at 4:30 PM at the pond to view the day-blooming water lilies, and at 5:00 we will move up to the Conservatory where we will learn the history of the Conservatory and have a behind the scenes tour of the greenhouses.  There will be some emphasis on the propagation and care of water lilies.  Then at 6:30PM we will return to the pond to view the evening blooming lilies.  This tour is free as a benefit of your membership.

For those interested in a social time afterwards, we will gather afterwards at the new restaurant at the Como Pavilion on the lake for refreshments.

If you would like to join us, please register on the GRC website by September 3, 2015 at 4PM.

If you have time beforehand, look for some of Marian Adcock's work in the Como Conservatory Gift Shop.
