A private tour (for GRC members and guests) of the College of Biological Sciences Conservatory "where life flourishes in defiance of winter."  Our guide will be the CBS Curator, Lisa Aston Philander.

Enjoy a Saturday among diverse collections of rare and unusual plant species in seven different environmental biomes.  Among them, one of the only cloud forest cool moist climate rooms in the United States.  The College of Biological Sciences Conservatory provides plant materials and specimens for lab and classroom activities, and facilitates research projects.  You might find your next botanical subject here!

Please note: Arrive and allow for parking before 11:30.  The greenhouse is a working teaching and research facility. As such, some hazards such as wet floors, open ponds, hard bench edges, and spiny or poisonous plants may be present.  Visitors are welcome to take photos of our collections. For comfort, dress in layers for indoors humid 70ºF.

The Conservatory is at 1534 Lindig Street, St. Paul campus.  Directions will be in you confirmation e-mail.
