The opening reception for the 2023 Inspired by Nature show was at the White Bear Center for the Arts on Thursday, September 14th.  I can assure you that it was better than the Vikings game!

White Bear Center for the Arts is nestled in a woody setting.  A perfect setting for our art!  125 people attended the opening reception to see 90 pieces of art by 37 artists.  Seventeen of the pieces were from 7 new exhibitors.

Seventy people cast ballots for the People’s Choice awards of Best Overall in Show and Best Artwork by a New Exhibitor.  Tying for Best Overall were Ronda Dick for Woodland Gathering III and Marian Adcock for A Magnificent Sunflower.  People’s Choice winner for best artwork from a new exhibitor was Kelsey Wilson for Reed Canary Grass.  Congratulations to all of the winners!  And congratulations to all of the artists for making a wonderful show.  

If you were not able to make it to the opening reception, please stop in to see the exhibit at your convenience.  The exhibit runs through October 20th and is open whenever White Bear Center for the Arts is open.
