MARY ANDERSON
Mary is a native Minnesotan growing up with a lifelong appreciation for nature and a love for all things creative. She graduated with two degrees, in Advertising and Fine Art, spending her early career as a graphic designer. After spending years raising her family she began taking classes again in a variety of painting media finding her true love in botanical watercolors.
Mary enjoys the artistic and technical challenges of botanical art. She loves bringing to life often overlooked or seemingly ordinary things to a new level of beauty and point of view. She often paints in larger-than-life scale to help draw attention and emphasize the incredible details in nature.
Mary has shown her work at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Minnetonka Center for the Arts, Bloomington Art Center, White Bear Center for the Arts, Hopkins Art Center and the Minnesota State Fair.
She currently resides in Eden Prairie with her family and teddy bear dog Wilson.
